Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva announces winners of Karimov Foundation’s 2020 scholarship programme for postgraduate study in Europe.

 

Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva has announced the winners of the Karimov Foundation’s 2020 scholarship programme for postgraduate study in Europe.

Scholarship WebBased on the results of the competitive selection process, the following young people have been awarded scholarships from our Foundation:

  1. Shahnoza Saidova (graduate of Westminster International University in Tashkent);
  2. Yer-Sultan Zholdasbaev (graduate of the Tashkent Institute of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Roads);
  3. Muslimbek Yuldoshev (graduate of the Tashkent branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas);
  4. Bakhodir Ibragimov (graduate of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent).

“As the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Karimov Foundation, I offer my most sincere congratulations to the winners of the 2020 scholarship programme and wish them every success in their future studies!

I am confident that thanks to the education received at some of the best European universities, these young people will be able to make valuable contributions to the development and prosperity of Uzbekistan,” said the chair of the Karimov Foundation, Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva, in her message in connection with the announcement of the new scholarship winners.

The Karimov Foundation’s scholarship programme was launched in 2016. Over the past four years, the Foundation has awarded scholarships to 36 young people from Uzbekistan for their two-year postgraduate studies at some of the leading universities in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Russia and Poland. The scholarships were awarded in the following fields of study: renewable energy; chemistry and chemical engineering; water and land resource management; mechanical engineering; protection and restoration of architectural monuments; urban planning; food production and marketing; architecture, industrial design; fine arts; tourism and travel services management; communication and public relations, journalism.
