Uzbekistan’s ambassador to UNESCO Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva has spearheaded the initiative to launch a free iPhone application on Uzbekistan. The newly-launched UZ UNESCO programme seeks to raise the awareness of the international community of the Central Asian country’s rich cultural and historical heritage, making Uzbekistan’s delegation the first among the representative offices of UNESCO member states to implement an international project of this kind.
