The tragic events in Kyrgyzstan is a matter of great concern for people of Uzbekistan. Murders, violence and rape claimed the lives of hundreds of people, and left thousands injured.

The humanitarian aid sent by Lola Karimova-Tillyaeva includes medicines, shelter, food products and drinking water. The volunteers of the foundation have now been providing assistance to people in 45 refugee camps located in Uzbekistan’s part of the Ferghana Valley.

The refugees need medicines, hygienic products, warm cloths, cover etc. It is a matter of serious concern that due to the great influx of refugees, there are people who remain without shelter.

The foundation has opened an aid collection point for all residents of Tashkent willing to help.

The aid collection point started its work on 17 June and will remain open till 1600 on Saturday 19 June. Its opening hours are as follows: 1000-1800 on 17 and 18 June; and 1000-1600 on Saturday 19 June.
